DATELINE: ScaredyCatville, August 24 – Barack Obama seems to enjoy being President of the United States as long as he can skip being the leader of the free world. There’s just no other way to explain his managing to be out of town when crises erupt on the international stage.
DATELINE: Auditville, August 17 – We lerned again last week that the hunt for the truth in the Lois Lerner email investigation is like a giant whack-o-mole game. Every time the IRS pops up with another excuse about why her emails can’t be produced, players try to whack it into submission. It doesn’t matter who the players are – Congress, the Courts, whatever and whoever. So far, the moles are winning.
DATELINE: Darknessville, August 9 – Today, President Obama held a press conference on the south lawn of the White House en route to his latest family vacation. His remarks, and the questions from the press, dealt entirely with the state of affairs in Iraq. In listening to the President, one can only conclude that they are very strange affairs indeed.
DATELINE: Comedyville, August 2 – The world is brimful of steaming struggles this week: Israel vs. Hamas, Ukraine vs. Russia, Iraq vs. ISIS, Rebels vs. Syria, Sanity vs. North Korea. Most of them are very sobering with long-term consequences that can reshape our lives for the much worse.
It’s pretty apparent that, to the Country’s most powerful domestic agency, Congressional scrutiny is merely a laughing matter. Certainly, the testimony being given this week by the current IRS Commissioner contains one joke after another.
DATELINE: NothingToHideville, May 19 – What was it that Karl Rove said ten days ago about Hillary’s health that still has so many up in arms? Three things: (1) she suffered a serious health episode; (2) she was hospitalized for 30 days and (3) she covered up the extent of her condition. According to early reports, Clinton fell in her home and struck her head. Initially diagnosed as a concussion, doctors later discovered a blood clot behind her right ear between her brain and her skull.Read more…
